“Reality is perhaps not at all what I imagine. Perhaps it doesn't exist, in fact. Perhaps it only exists as a longing.” - Ingmar Bergman

I have a very specific memory of watching A Clockwork Orange for the first time, aged fourteen, enraptured by its bright colours, bold camera work, and challenging depiction of morality and the ethics of a free society. This film did so many things I didn’t know you could do in a movie. I fell in love and thus the bug was caught.

Born and raised in Sydney, now back after a few years in Melbourne, my passion for singular, challenging, character based films has not abated. I made my first short-film in 2014, graduated from the Victorian College of Arts School of Film and Television in 2016 and have since made films that have screened at festivals Australia wide, including the Byron Bay International Film Festival and the Lorne Film Festival.

I am passionate about storytelling that interrogates the conditions of a rapidly changing world. I am particularly drawn to complex characters figuring out who they are and where they fit as the world changes around them.

My writing has appeared in The Sydney Anthology, FilmInk and CityHub.
